Enes Kanter taunted Kevin Durant while Durant was busy destroying the Thunder
Seems like an odd time.
So, uh, Enes Kanter picked an odd time to trash-talk Kevin Durant from the bench.
Durant torched the Thunder for 29 first-half points, most of which came after Jerami Grant crammed on him.
You’d think this would be the time for Kanter to stay quiet and take his lumps. Instead, he jabbered away at Durant, presumably because Durant was talking too much junk himself.
Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised. Kanter spent all summer roasting Durant and becoming Russell Westbrook’s No. 1 cheerleader. He can’t turn that off just because Durant is destroying his team, even if he should.
Durant mostly shrugged off the exchange after the game, noting that Kanter doesn’t play much and joking Kanter would probably tweet about it.
