The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled out Spencer Ware vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.

The Chiefs cannot catch a break when it comes to injuries in their backfield.

Ware suffered a concussion in Week 8 that prevented him from practicing this week. Going through the NFL concussion protocol and being cleared in one week is hard, so it is no surprise he is out this week and perhaps longer.
With Jamaal Charles now on injured reserve, Ware is the featured running back in this offense, and that should not change if he misses a game or two. In seven games, Ware has 102 rushes for 511 yards with two scores to go with 17 catches for 313 yards and one score.
Fantasy Impact: With Ware out, the Chiefs will start Charcandrick West against a Jaguars defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs over the last five weeks.
West has done well when given touches, but not enough to think Ware’s starting spot is in jeopardy.
