Ryan Fitzpatrick returns for Jets after Bryce Petty replaces him for a series
Fitzpatrick briefly exited with a knee injury.

He returned in the fourth quarter after missing one series.
Fitzpatrick was evaluated on the sidelines by team doctors after he took a big hit on a roughing the passer penalty committed by the Dolphins. Up until that point, he had completed 13 of his 21 passes for 124 yards and an interception. Bryce Petty came in for the Jets.
Petty, a fourth-round pick from the 2015 draft, made his NFL debut in this game. Petty’s first NFL pass was a 15-yard completion to Bilal Powell, and the Jets were able to get a field goal out of the drive. He was 2 of 2 for 19 yards on the drive.
