The Minnesota Vikings really needed a win on Sunday, and they played an important divisional game against the Detroit Lions.
The Vikings and Lions combined for one of the best finishes this season
What. A. Game.

With less than a minute remaining and on 3rd and goal, the Vikings let tight end Rhett Ellison take a sweep and punch it in.
That’s Rudolph’s first rushing touchdown of his career, and it came at a perfect time for Mike Zimmer and the Vikings.
Of course, the Lions would find a way to tie the game just before the game ended. Matthew Stafford found Golden Tate for an 8-yard gain, and then Andre Roberts for a 27-yard gain.
Matt Prater nailed a 58-yard field goal to send the game to overtime.
Prater has proven to be one of the most clutch kickers in the league when it comes to late-game situations:
The Lions won the coin toss, and elected to receive the ball first in overtime. The Lions then went on an 11-play, 87-yard drive capped off by an amazing touchdown by Tate.
The flip at the end was a perfect way to end what was a truly spectacular game.
