Punts typically aren’t anything to get excited about on Sundays, but Los Angeles Rams punter Johnny Hekker sent one three-quarters the length of the field.

Damn, that was a nice punt.
Hekker booted one just outside of his own end zone. It landed close to the Carolina Panthers’ 45-yard line and bounced all the way to their 13.
The Rams haven’t had many big gains all season, and this punt will probably be their longest play of the game.
It might have been more appropriate if it went 79 yards, though.
