All 7’0 of Embiid went out and trapped the Utah Jazz guard and it was SCARY.
Exum retreated toward halfcourt immediately like a frightened middle school player. But who could blame him? McConnell didn’t even have room to double-team because Embiid takes up so much space.
The play ended in a missed Joe Ingles jump shot, so the shock factor of the big man trapping paid off.
Joel Embiid has been worth the wait.
