Arizona Cardinals receiver Michael Floyd was arrested early Monday morning for a DUI, according to arizonasports.com. The Scottsdale Police Department said the veteran receiver feel asleep at the wheel.

Floyd was later charged with one count of obstructing a roadway and failure to obey a police officer, per the AP. He was also charged with two counts of DUI. He was released Monday morning.

Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has spoken to Floyd and will likely give an update on situation Wednesday:

This wasn’t Floyd’s first drunk driving charge. While he was still in college in 2011, he was suspended indefinitely by Notre Dame for driving with a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit. His suspension was lifted in Aug. 2011, and the Cardinals selected him in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft.

So far this season, Floyd has had a down year with the Cardinals. He’s struggled with drops and has totaled just 33 receptions for 446 yards and four touchdowns.
