The Seattle Seahawks had to call a time out in the third quarter of Thursday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams because running back Thomas Rawls’ shoe was untied.
Russell Wilson had to stop and tie his teammate’s shoe in the middle of the field
It was a little unexpected.

Quarterback Russell Wilson came to Rawls’ aid, helping him tie his shoe.
This isn’t something you see often. NFL players are grown adult men, who are capable of tying their own shoes. Wilson, however, seems like a helpful guy, so when he saw his teammate in need, he sprang into action.
The Seahawks were also moving the ball pretty well against the Los Angeles defense, so it’s also possible Wilson wanted to get the shoe tied and get back to it as quickly as possible.
Wilson and his wife, Ciara, are expecting a child, and maybe Wilson is just trying to get in some shoe-tying practice.
The Seahawks capped off this drive with a 17-yard pass from Wilson to Doug Baldwin for a touchdown.
