Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell is scheduled to become a free agent this offseason, but the Steelers will not let their star back reach the market.
Le’Veon Bell will probably get the franchise tag from the Steelers
Pay the man!

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter report that Pittsburgh will likely franchise tag Bell and try “to hammer out a long-term extension in the offseason.” The tag is worth $12.377 million.
Bell was suspended for the first three games of the season because he violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
The young running back is having a great year for the Steelers. So far this season, he has 1,053 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Not only is Bell a threat as a runner, he is also lethal in the Steelers’ passing attack. He has hauled in 67 passes for 563 yards.
As talented as Bell is, he has been suspended twice. If he gets suspended again, he will have to serve 10-game suspension.
However, when Bell is on the field, he is a threat that opposing defenses have to take account for. He has a rare combination of size, strength, power, and agility.
At 8-5, Pittsburgh sits atop of the AFC North, and Bell is one of the biggest reasons why the Steelers are having a good season.
Pittsburg will travel to Cincinnati for a Week 15 matchup against the Bengals, a divisional foe.
