Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak has had a very good tenure in Denver. His team won a Super Bowl in Year 1, and the Broncos are currently 8-5 and fighting for a Wild Card spot.
Gary Kubiak let the clock run out in the 1st half with 3 timeouts, down 7 points to the Patriots
Ugh. Why.

But ugh. Down seven points to the Patriots and with three timeouts in his pocket, he was content to let the clock run out at the end of the first half and get into halftime. The Broncos’ defense forced the Patriots to punt with 1:14 left to play — plenty of time to potentially mount a drive for teams that have the ability to stop the clock.
Instead, the clock ran, and the Broncos received the ball on their own 20-yard line with 32 seconds left. Even then — with three timeouts! — the Broncos had time to get into field goal range. Alas, the Broncos handed the ball off to Justin Forsett once and let the half end.
The home crowd hated the call.
The Broncos’ offense has been moving the ball well, outgaining the Patriots in yardage, 187-136. If not for an interception deep in Patriots’ territory, this game might be tied. Instead, the Patriots lead, 10-3, and the Broncos will be scrapping for their playoff lives out of second-half deficit.
