This one was no different. Derek Carr found Crabtree as he was being defended by Trevor Williams, and he reached around and was able to get his hands on the ball.
Initially, the play was not ruled a touchdown. The officials went back to the monitor to look, and Crabtree was awarded the touchdown, with “a slice of blue,” between his foot and the sideline.
