Roy Williams thinks Frosty is the name of a reindeer and not the snowman
Something is off.

On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen. On ... Frosty?
North Carolina coach Roy Williams was asked what his favorite reindeer was, and he said Frosty. We’ve never heard of Frosty the Reindeer, so it’s probably one of those less common reindeer who have become bar trivia questions.
The more likely scenario was that Williams wanted to say Frosty the Snowman, who is definitely not a reindeer. Here’s a quick primer in case you are asked this very same question this holiday season.
This is Frosty, the beloved pile of snow constructed to resemble a jovial human who what looks to have a beer belly (most books and cartoons won’t tell you this). You can easily tell by the fact that he’s made out of snow. He also has a hat. He is not a reindeer.
This is a reindeer. A reindeer is not an anthropomorphic ball of snow. They are a species of deer associated with Santa Claus. They pull his sleigh on Christmas. In some cases, like in Rudolph’s, their noses even light up. Frosty’s nose does not.
If you think about it, Frosty and Rudolph have a very similar nose. Maybe that’s why Roy Williams confused them.
