The Giants will be without their top corner

During the Giants 17-6 victory against the Detroit Lions in Week 15, Jenkins went down with a back injury in the second quarter.
The veteran cornerback tried to deliver a big hit on Lions tight end Eric Ebron. Jenkins was in a lot of pain, and a trainer had to help him off the field.
Following the game, Jenkins underwent tests on his vital organs. According to the NY Daily News, Jenkins “escaped serious injury.”
After the tests on Sunday, Jenkins told ESPN’s Rosina Anderson, “I’m good, I’m fine.”
Jenkins is having a fantastic season. He has racked up 48 tackles, one forced fumble, and three interceptions. He is one of the best defensive backs in the NFL.
Without Jenkins, the Giants have a large hole to fill in their secondary. New York’s pass rush must step up to take some of the pressure off of its secondary as it looks to clinch its first playoff berth in five years.
