After taking a big hit, Robert Griffin III exited the game against the Chargers in the fourth quarter. RG3 headed to the locker room and was ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion.

Rookie quarterback Cody Kessler entered the game in his place.
Before the injury, Griffin completed 17 of 25 passes for 164 yards and had rushed for 42 yards on the ground. Griffin was also injured in the first game of the season and went on injured reserve. He returned to the starting lineup in Week 14.
Kessler, a third-round pick, has played in eight games for the Browns so far this year. He’s thrown for 1,369 yards and six touchdowns, and has been picked off twice. Kessler has also dealt with injuries this season. He last played in Week 11 against the Steelers and left the game with a concussion.
Seven different players have taken a snap under center for the Browns this season.
The winless Browns are leading the Chargers 20-17 late in the game.
