The Seattle Seahawks had a big gain vs. the Arizona Cardinals after a 28-yard throw from Russell Wilson to Tyler Lockett, which appeared to be a touchdown. Lockett was ruled down just short of the end zone, but suffered a gruesome leg injury in the process.
Tyler Lockett out for season with a broken leg
It was a gruesome injury.

Lockett, while somehow maintaining possession of the ball, had a Cardinals defensive back roll up on his leg, which snapped just below his knee.
After the game, Pete Carroll confirmed that the leg was broken, and would require surgery that would end his season.
Trainers put his leg in an air cast, and Lockett would be carted off the field. If the injury wasn’t bad enough, the Seahawks wouldn’t get any points out of the field position, since the Cardinals made a huge defensive stand.
Coming into Saturday’s game, Lockett was the team’s third leading receiver behind Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham.
