Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has slowly been restoring hope for Miami fans since what looked like a devastating knee injury three weeks ago.
Ryan Tannehill’s status is now reportedly day-to-day
Miami might get its starter back for the playoffs.

Tannehill’s status is currently considered day-to-day, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. Meaning the Dolphins, who have clinched of playoff berth, may be getting their starter back for the postseason.
It appeared at first as though the starter required surgery and wouldn’t get to play another game this season. Then the team announced Tannehill was luckily just dealing with a Grade II sprain. Now it seems his rehab schedule is nearing completion.
Tannehill was originally slated to be out four to six weeks. If he can make it back for the playoffs, that would put him right in that range.
Backup Matt Moore has certainly been serviceable in his two starts with Tannehill sidelined — 28 of 48 passes completed for 469 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions — however this is a huge boost for a Miami team looking for its first postseason victory since 2000.
