Allen Robinson lashes out at Jaguars fans for booing their 2-10 team

Who wouldn’t be frustrated with a 2-10 record?

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson had some harsh words for Jaguars fans who were booing the team during Sunday’s loss to the Broncos.

“Fans don’t see this part of it,” Robinson says. “They booed us yesterday. They don’t understand a damn thing.”

Robinson’s comments were part of an article by Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated that looked at NFL players’ recovery time after games. The part that “fans don’t see” that Robinson alluded to was the fact that their careers could be over in a split second on any given play.

However, fans probably weren’t booing the fact that Robinson or his teammates could suffer an injury at any moment, their recovery process from games, or any of that. Jaguars fans are frustrated with the team’s inability to climb out of the AFC South cellar and losing season after losing season. Those boos came as the Jaguars lost to the Broncos, 20-10, their 10th loss of the season and seventh in a row.

At 2-10, the Jaguars have been struggling all season. The defense has a habit of surrendering big plays, and the offense cannot make enough of them.

So far this season, Robinson has hauled in 56 passes for 622 yards and six touchdowns.

After a 20-10 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 13, Robinson said he has “never been this frustrated” playing football.

”It’s been frustrating, and not the amazing officiating but just all around. Sometimes you’ve got to let it out, and that happened.”

The Jaguars will host the Minnesota Vikings for a Week 14 matchup at EverBank Field.
