Top League of Legends pro given temporary military deferment after selection by Greek army

H2K marksman FORG1VEN may not be leaving after all.

Update, 3/3: H2K has announced Forg1ven has been granted a “temporary deferment of military service.“

After Thursday’s thrilling win against Fnatic, star H2K marksman Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou announced Friday will be his last professional game for at least nine months, as he has been selected for mandatory service by the Greek Army.

H2K offered its support on Twitter.

FORG1VEN had arguably been the best marksman in Europe this split, leading H2K to a tie for first place. The team will now have to make the push for the playoffs with someone else leading the bottom lane.
