As the fourth round starts, we’re still waiting for a spark. There is some belief on HBO commentary that perhaps Manny Pacquiao’s right shoulder isn’t 100 percent, as he shook it out a little bit in the third round.
Pacquiao vs. Bradley 2016 results: Pacquiao’s offense coming alive
As we close the first third of the fight, Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley haven’t sparked into a big fight just yet.
Pacquiao showing a little aggression now a minute into the round, starting to finally put his punches together. He’s unleashing the left hand, but not throwing the hook much, which could still mean the shoulder isn’t quite there for him. It is keeping Bradley off balance, though, and right now Pacquiao is controlling what action there is.
Bradley throws a long right, Manny avoids it easily. Right and a left to the body from Bradley, not clean shots, but Pacquiao right back with his own shot, and then a left hand from distance again. A little hook from Manny, at least there for show. There’s the hook for real. Pacquiao really looking sharper this round, and giving Bradley some real problems tactically.
Good right hand from Bradley late in the round, Pacquiao charging back when the bell rings, but this was a Manny round.
SB Nation scores the round 10-9 for Pacquiao (38-38)
