Another Monday sees EA drop two more mid-major Teams of the Season bringing us to three being out concurrently.
95 Hulk, 91 Tevez lead FIFA 16 Russian League, Latin America TOTS
Three blue squads in packs at once. Let’s go.
After the Lower English Leagues and Benelux teams led things off and the Portuguese Liga NOS and Saudi ALJ League the week after, this week sees the release of the Latin America and Russian League Teams of the Season.
Latin America TOTS encompasses the best players of the past year from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico’s best leagues. Though he’s relegated to the squad’s backups, Boca Juniors star Carlos Tevez’s 91-overall rated card is probably the main draw with the French national team’s Andre-Pierre Gignac also an enticing card.
The Russian League features Hulk’s best-ever FIFA Ultimate Team card, a daunting 95-rated beast right midfield version. Winger Quincy Promes, who was in the Most Consistent Without an Inform Team of the Season, also returns, as does 2015 TOTS beast (and Hulk Zenit teammate) Igor Smolnikov.
