The heavy-hitter races at Churchill Downs, including the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby itself, have not yet wrapped up but with a full slate of undercard races, plenty of note happened by Saturday afternoon. The 14-race program got underway at 10:30 a.m., with the whole thing set to wrap up at 8:05 p.m.
Kentucky Derby 2016 undercard results: Jazzy Times takes debut race
The Kentucky Derby is still a few hours away, but the undercard races are well underway at Churchill Downs.

The Kentucky Derby itself is set with a post time of 6:34 p.m., with the much-anticipated Grade I Woodford Reserve Turf Classic set to launch just prior, at 5:25 p.m.
The first race, an eight-furlong run was taken by Rocket Time, with Teniente Coronel to place and Geothermal to show. Another OCLM dirt race, this one 8.5 furlongs, was run next at 11:01 a.m. and was taken by Call the Colonel, with Moon King to place and Street Gray to show. Call the Colonel was 18-1 odds to win the race, and was off the pace for much of it but came on strong near the end to take the surprise win.
Jazzy Times, the horse occupying the former Santa Anita stall that American Pharoah occupied, managed to take the third race, a 6.5 furlong dirt MDSP ahead of Grand Candy to place and Jimbo Fallon to show. Jazzy Times was the 3-2 favorite for the race, which was also its debut.
The first turf race of the day, an eight-furlong MDSP, saw Res Ispa take it with Palce Des Vosges to place and Havana Dream to show. Finally, the pre-afternoon races wrapped up at 12:35, when Hesinfront took an 8.5-furlong OCLM over Gotham News to place and Allied Air Raid to show.
Nine more races occupy the Derby Day schedule, and full results can be found here.
