Damian Lillard scored 40 points to lead the Blazers over the Warriors in Game 3 in Portland and to within 2-1 in their series. Elsewhere, Kyle Lowry scored 29 points in the second half to lead the Raptors over the Heat in Game 3 in Miami and a 2-1 lead in their second-round NBA playoff series.

    Lillard did a perfect Curry impression in Game 3

    It’s not the first time Lillard has been likened to Curry. While one is clearly a step above the other, their skill sets are similar. Their jump shots force defenses to guard them beyond the three-point line and both have the quickness to get to the rim at will. Curry is just a little better at everything and does it more consistently. But when Lillard is on, the resemblance becomes uncanny.

    Take this three-pointer as an example. Most players wouldn’t be able to get this shot off, much less make it.

    The Raptors seemed on the way to an easy win, as they started out the third quarter strong and increased their lead to 13. Then Valanciunas went down with an ankle injury, which changed the game completely. As soon as the big man went to the locker room the Heat made their push, led by Dwayne Wade.

    Wade made an assist and a bucket to get the Heat to within just one with under a minute to go but Lowry got Toronto up three with a leaning jumper.
