Jonas Valanciunas out for the rest of Game 3 with ankle injury
Valanciunas suffered an ankle sprain and won’t return for the rest of game.
Valanciunas jumped to contest a layup by Dwyane Wade and landed awkwardly, partially on Wade's foot. He went down and immediately clutched his ankle. He walked gingerly to the bench and went back to the locker room. He tried to return to the game after getting it re-taped but ultimately couldn't do it.
The Raptors' center was dominating. He had 16 points and 12 rebounds in 22 minutes.
Earlier in the game the Heat had lost their starting center to a knee injury. Hassan Whiteside left the game in the second quarter and didn't return. The backup bigs will have to step up for both teams.
