Creator came in at 13-1 odds to win. The odds were firmly in Exaggerator’s favor, with 6-5 odds.This was a disappointing finish for Exaggerator after his second place finish at the Kentucky Derby and his win at The Preakness to upset Nyquist’s bid at a Triple Crown.
The 2016 Belmont Stakes has a guaranteed purse of at least $1.5 million, with Creator taking almost $800,000.
