They decided to sing ABBA with Sweden, instead of throwing hands ahead of their game. Now their greatest video has emerged: Frenchman on a balcony.
A teeming crowd of raucous Ireland fans gathered outside The Harp Bar in Paris and found a hero: A lone man in an apartment above. He was met with a hero’s welcome every time he came to the window, and boos when he left them. Finally, the man broke down and gave the fans what they wanted — causing everyone to lose it.
It’s one of those great moments we don’t see enough of. It’s like that time in Memphis when a crowd went wild for a little boy.
