The 2016 US Olympic diving trials are underway, with Saturday’s action featuring the semifinals for the men’s synchronized 3-meter springboard and the women’s synchronized 10-meter springboard. On Sunday, the men’s synchronized 10-meter platform finals will be held.

The men’s synchronized 10-meter springboard semifinals for the Olympic diving trials are set for Sunday and here’s how you can watch.

Diving is a huge sport for the United States. The country holds 49 gold medals, 42 silver medals and 44 bronze medals in the sport. Their 135 total medals is quite a bit more than the next country, China, who has 59 total titles. David Boudia was the only American to earn a gold medal last time around at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
He is a part of the ongoing trials, along with Kristian Ipsen and Abigail Johnston, who all earned medals last year for the United States as well. The trials are overseen by the US Olympic Committee and run by USA Diving. They’re held in Indianapolis and will ultimately run through Sunday, June 26 when the final qualifying spots will be wrapped up.
On Saturday, the semifinals of the men’s synchronized 3-meter springboard finished with first-time pair Sam Dorman and Michael Hixon leading London medalists Troy Dumais and Kristian Ipsen by a massive 56.52 points. In the women’s synchronized 10-meter platform, Jessica Parratto and Amy Cozad came out on top.
Sunday’s events will get underway at 11 a.m. ET, though those are just the early preliminaries. The men’s synchronized 10-meter semifinals are set for 8 p.m. and will be broadcast by NBCSN. A live stream of those preliminaries will be carried by NBC Sports, beginning at 8 p.m. and ending about an hour later.
