Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Erik Kratz vied for his first home run of the season on Monday night against the San Francisco Giants, but left fielder Angel Pagan almost made an amazing catch over the wall to rob him.
Angel Pagan took out his anger on his glove after nearly robbing a home run

Almost.
The ball appeared to be in Pagan’s glove until some point over the wall, when it dropped out, giving the backup catcher Kratz his home run and a 1-0 lead for Pittsburgh against Madison Bumgarner. It made Pagan so angry that he slammed his glove into the ground in frustration.
The Kratz home run was the only run in the ballgame, snapping the Giants’ eight-game win streak.
But it was still a fantastic effort by Pagan, catch or no.
