The 2016 Olympic trials continued on Monday with a pair of USA Diving events. Thus far, no competitors for the 2016 Rio Olympics have been named from these trials, but after a couple days the field is looking clear. Monday saw the men’s 3-meter springboard preliminaries and semifinals, as well as the women’s 10-meter platform preliminaries and semifinals.

On the men’s solo side, Kristian Ipsen holds a narrow lead over Michael Hixon. The pair traded the lead back and forth during the semifinal, and in the end Ipsen took a narrow 7.05-point lead. Hixon isn’t eliminated and neither are the other top 12 divers. Scores are cumulative throughout preliminaries, semifinals and finals. So Hixon is close enough to Ipsen to challenge him in the finals.

Ipsen will enter the finals with 973.20 points to Hixon’s 966.15. The battle for third place is even closer, with Mark Anderson sitting at 856.95 to Troy Dumais’ 856.10. Sam Dorman had the highest-scoring dive of the evening, a forward four-and-a-half, earning him a massive 102.60 points. But he is in fifth place after the semifinals wrapped up.

Here’s a look at Dorman’s incredible dive:

For the women, Jessica Parratto built a healthy lead over the second-place Murphy Bromberg and third-place Amy Cozad. Parratto finished the day with a score of 714.95, well ahead of Bromberg at 645:95. Parratto will have to defend her lead in the finals, but it seems rather safe given the amount of her lead at this point.

If it’s a battle for second with Bromberg’s tiny lead over Cozad. Cozad is less than a point away at 6:45.80, with Katrina Young (620.35) and Delaney Schnell (599.65) rounding out the top five. The finals for both of these events will take place on Saturday. Below are the full results from the semifinals:
