There are just two more days of Olympic diving trials for the United States. The trials, which will determine those eligible for the US Olympic Team, started on Saturday, June 18 and have four more finals events still on the calendar. On Saturday, the men’s solo 3-meter springboard and women’s solo 10-meter platform finals will be held.
Olympics 2016: US diving trials time, TV schedule and live stream for Saturday
Several former Olympians are trying to punch their tickets to Rio 2016.

Sunday will feature the inverse of that, with the women competing in the 3-meter and men in the 10-meter. To this point, the men’s synchronized 3-meter and 10-meter finals and women’s synchronized 10-meter finals have already been held.
David Boudia and Steele Johnson will represent the country in the synchronized 10-meter. Boudia won the United States’ only gold medal in diving during the 2012 London Olympics. Sam Dorman and Michael Hixon will compete in the synchronized 3-meter after beating out favorites Kristian Ipsen and Troy Dumais, who took home bronze in London. The pair of Jessica Parratto and Amy Cozad will compete in the women’s synchronized 10-meter platform.
On Saturday, many of those same competitors will compete in the solo events. Ipsen, Hixon, Dumais and Dorman are all in the top five in the 3-meter springboard after the semifinals, along with Mark Anderson. Ipsen leads the event, for which scoring is cumulative throughout preliminaries, semifinals and finals, by just 7.05 points. Ipsen sits at 973.20 points, with Hixon at 966.15 behind him and Anderson coming in third at 856.95.
In the women’s 10-meter, synchronized teammates Parratto and Cozad are both in the top three, but with Parratto holding a solid lead with 714.95 points after two rounds. Murphy Bromberg comes in second at 645.95, while Cozad rounds out the top three at 645.80.
Saturday’s events get underway at 4:30 p.m. ET with the men’s event. That is expected to run until around 6 p.m., and will be broadcast on NBC. The women’s event will also be broadcast on NBC, running from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Both events will be streamed online via NBC Sports.
