The 2016 X Games in Austin got underway on Thursday, but only two events were featured, the Moto X Step Up Final and the Harley-Davidson Flat-Track Racing. The tournament, which has been in Austin for the past two years, will run through Sunday, but by the end more than a dozen events will take place featuring some of the best athletes in the world.

The 2016 X Games in Austin got started on Thursday, but Friday features a full slate of events.

On Thursday, the Moto X Step Up competition took place, and saw a split gold medal between Jarryd McNeil and Libor Podmol, who both managed heights of 33 feet. Massimo Bianconcini came in third and last year’s winner, Ronnie Renner, fell short and finished tied for fourth place.
