WWE superstars are no strangers to being in comic book movies. Dave Bautista played Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is set to play Black Adam in Shazam! Now Sheamus is throwing his hat into the ring and is aiming for a different role.
WWE superstar Sheamus wants to play Venom in a new Spider-Man movie

The Irish-born superstar best known for his pale skin and shock of red hair is wanting to don a very different look: Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis Venom.
“No offense to Topher Grace but he just didn’t look like Eddie Brock,” Sheamus said. “He looked like Eddie Brock had been on a hunger strike for a few weeks.”
“I want to be a part of the Marvel Universe,” Sheamus said. “I’m a big fan of the Marvel comics and The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, but I would love to be a part of the Marvel Universe.”
Sheamus certainly has the build to play Eddie Brock, and honestly, it’s hard to think of someone better. Playing Venom has been the white whale of comic book movies. Near impossible to cast, extremely important and woefully underrepresented among the myriad Spider-Man reboots.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but MAKE IT HAPPEN!
