Seeing couples face swap is nothing new. If you scroll down your Facebook feed you probably have a face-swapped picture on there from someone. That said, Stephen and Ayesha Curry decided to face swap and this feels so, so wrong.
Let’s be clear: They are still basketball’s best couple. That said, there is a lot to digest about this face swap.
- Is this some elaborate face swap Inception thing? Did they swap and pretend to be imitating each other imitating each other? How does this all happen?
- Did they voice swap AFTER face swapping? Did they record VO after their face swap?
- This reveals a lot about their relationship. Steph thinks the best depiction of his wife is talking about some weird Chilean BBQ soup thing, while Ayesha thinks her husband just walks around all day saying basketball words.
You’re still really cool, Steph and Ayesha -- this just makes us feel icky.
