Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The women’s 10,000-meter race finals and long jump finals will take place at the USA Track and Field Olympic Trials on Saturday. Friday saw the trials get underway with the men’s shot put and 10,000-meter finals, but Saturday features a full slate of events comprised of decathlon, qualifying and semifinal rounds.

The main event -- the aforementioned long jump finals and 10,000-meter race finals -- will be broadcast on NBC beginning at 2 p.m. and running about three hours. There will also be a live stream of the events via NBC Sports, along with a live stream of the decathlon and 400-meter decathlon. Links for those events can be found below.

The United States holds a massive 320 gold medals and 767 total medals in Athletics at the Summer Olympics. The “Athletics” category comprises track and field, road running and racewalking events. Great Britain has 194 total medals, in second place overall and well behind the United States. The United States took home 28 total medals in Athletics at the 2012 London Olympics.

Marquise Goodwin of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills will be in action trying to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Goodwin will be participating in the long jump, and owns the two farthest jumps in the world this year. The men’s long jump decathlon will take place in the afternoon on Saturday.
