Dirk Nowitzki did the Zaza penalty kick during an exhibition game

Dirk Nowitzki played in his annual soccer game with celebrities on Wednesday and brought something we never, ever expected. The Dallas Mavericks’ forward stepped to his spot with just over 20 minutes left and let it all hang out with the Zaza penalty kick.
The Zaza refers to Simone Zaza of Italy, who caused an incredible stir at Euro 2016 with his PK-turned Running Man Challenge against Germany that became one of the internet’s favorite things. What makes Dirk’s attempt so special was how deeply he adhered to the joke. Dude even committed to missing it terribly to make it all work.
