Australia promised to be a test for the U.S. men’s Olympic team and that proved to be the case. They led at halftime and were neck-and-neck deep into the fourth quarter, but the Americans finally pulled away for a 98-88 victory.

    But things could prove a bit more difficult Wednesday evening when Team USA faces Australia, one of the most talented squads in the tournament.

    Mills led all scores during the 2012 Olympics and has gotten off to another hot start this time around. Mills is averaging a tournament-high 23.5 points per game thus far. Bogut has been chipping in with 13.5 points and eight rebounds, while Dellavedova is averaging 13.5 points and 11.5 assists. All three will have to put up monster numbers for the Australians to have a chance against an American team that is off to a scorching start.
