Watch the new ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ trailer that premiered during the Olympics

Update: Aaaaand it’s here, embedded above for your enjoyment.

The last time a Star Wars trailer premiered during a sporting event, people tuned into Monday Night Football (both owned by Disney) to see footage from The Force Awakens. It's happening again this year with the Olympics and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, as Disney and NBC are premiering the second trailer during prime time coverage on Thursday. Here's the first one:

And just to be loving jerks, the Star Wars Twitter account posted a teaser to the new trailer on Tuesday:

It's a smart move for both companies as the Olympics, which is still a ratings behemoth when it counts, will get even more eyes on the Star Wars hype, while NBC likely gains a new audience in Star Wars fans who normally wouldn't pay attention to the games. Neither company has specified what time the trailer's premiere will be, but the best guesses are during the 200m individual medley final, featuring Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte in their rivalry finale, and the women's gymnastics individual all-around final, where Simone Biles looks to bring home the gold.

NBC’s coverage begins at 8 p.m ET, where the gymnastics portion will be shown on tape delay, while the swimming events will be shown live. And in case you’re not near a TV on Thursday night, or you don’t actually want to watch the Olympics, the new trailer will eventually make its way to Star Wars social media accounts, like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

Does it seem strange that a big Star Wars event is tied to the Olympics? Maybe, but if you think about it, lightsaber fights are kind of like fencing, and you could probably do trap shooting with blasters. Star Wars is sports.

Rogue One will be released in theaters on Dec. 16.
