Who’s ready for some basketball? With the Rio Olympics in full swing, NFL training camps already underway and MLB playoff races just starting to heat up, it’s been a lonely last month for NBA fans. That changed on Thursday with the release of the 2016-17 schedule.

This season’s schedule is loaded with great matchups, as we detailed in our breakdown of the 10 best games on the calendar. Now we’re taking an in-depth look at the first week of the season.

Below you can find every game of the NBA’s opening week. All times listed are Eastern.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

Knicks vs. Cavaliers, 8 p.m., TNT

The Cavs get their rings against a new-look Knicks squad that added Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Courtney Lee and Brandon Jennings this summer. This is quite a first test for New York.

Jazz vs. Blazers, 10 p.m.

Two of the NBA’s best up-and-coming teams get buried alongside superior games on opening night. Better get your DVR ready for this one, it’s going to be good.

Spurs vs. Warriors, 10:30 p.m., TNT

Kevin Durant makes his Warriors debut as the Spurs learn to live without Tim Duncan. These were the two best teams in the NBA last year by regular season records. An excellent opening night main event.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Heat vs. Magic, 7 p.m.

Frank Vogel makes his debut as Orlando’s head coach.

Mavericks vs. Pacers, 7 p.m.

Jeff Teague’s homecoming in Indiana officially begins against Dirk and the Mavs.

Nets vs. Celtics, 7:30 p.m.

Al Horford makes his debut against Jeremy Lin and the Nets.

Point Giannis, anyone?

Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies, 8 p.m.

Tom Thibodeau makes his debut as Wolves coach against Chandler Parsons and the Grizzlies.

Nuggets vs. Pelicans, 8 p.m.

The Pelicans desperately want to have a bounce-back season after a lost campaign last year. What does Anthony Davis have in store for us this season?

Thunder vs. 76ers, 8 p.m., ESPN

Ben Simmons makes his debut. Will Joel Embiid also make his?

Kings vs. Suns, 10 p.m.

Heavily recommended for Kings and Suns fans only.

Mike D’Antoni and the new-look Rockets go to LA for Brandon Ingram’s debut.
