Jordy Nelson is back. The Green Bay Packers’ star receiver has cleared his physical and come off the PUP list, according to ESPN reporter Field Yates.
Jordy Nelson cleared to come off PUP, fantasy value will start rising
We break down the fantasy football implications of Jordy Nelson being cleared to come off PUP and resume practicing.

Nelson is working his way back from a torn ACL suffered during the 2015 preseason. Knee tendinitis he developed before training camp had kept him on PUP for the past three weeks.
Now that Nelson has been cleared, he can resume practicing with his team and get back to his pre-injury form. Given that there will have been a full year between the tear and his next regular season game, Nelson will hope to get his footing under him sooner rather than later.
Fantasy Spin: Now that Nelson appears to be in the clear, do not be hesitant to select him in your fantasy football draft. His current ADP has him going toward the end of Round 2, but you can expect that to rise now that he’s cleared to practice.
For a guy who produces like a high-end WR1 when healthy, that would be a nice steal if you get him there.
