Diana Taurasi had another big game for the United States in the semifinals against France. In an 86-67 win, Taurasi scored 18 points, hit three three-pointers and dished four assists to make up for the loss of starting point guard Sue Bird, who is listed as day-to-day with a knee sprain.
Diana Taurasi drains 3 more threes in Team USA’s semifinal win over France
Diana Taurasi has been ON for Team USA.

Taurasi had a slow start in this one, not hitting a three-pointer in the first half for the first time in seven games in Rio. She shook that off quickly by hitting a pair early in the third quarter to start a 25-8 run that created too much separation for the French to come back.
The United States is set to take on Spain, a team they already beat by 40 points less than two weeks ago, in the gold medal game on Saturday. It’s looking like Taurasi will have a fourth gold medal to add to her collection.
