The opening round concludes with four games on Friday.

ESPN will televise all four games on Friday, with online streaming of the Little League World Series available through WatchESPN.
Friday’s first game features Chofu Little League from Tokyo, Japan taking on Hastings Community Little League from Vancouver, British Columbia, the latter representing Canada. “It says a lot for B.C. baseball. This is the best park to be in. I played here my whole life and I’ve coached here my whole life and it’s a great place to be. There’s nothing better than winning on your home field,” manager Vito Bordignon told Steve Ewen of The Province. “This gives us great confidence. We know that no matter the situation we can adapt and win.”
The other game on the international side of the bracket on Friday is East Seoul Little League from South Korea, representing Asia-Pacific, taking on the kids from Pariba Little League in Willemstad, Curacao, representing the Caribbean.
On the United States side of the bracket, Park View Little League in Chula Vista, representing the West, battles Johnston Little League from Iowa, representing the Midwest.
