Minnesota Vikings first-round draft pick Laquon Treadwell failed to catch a pass in the team’s preseason Week 2 win over the Seattle Seahawks, in spite of being targeted four times. The former standout Ole Miss receiver played exclusively with backup quarterback Joel Stave as Vikings starter Teddy Bridgewater sat out, per head coach Mike Zimmer’s decision.
Laquon Treadwell has lackluster preseason Week 2 performance, fantasy value on decline
Minnesota Vikings rookie receiver Laquon Treadwell had no catches in preseason Week 2. We look at the fantasy implications.

Treadwell is currently behind third-year vet Charles Johnson for the No. 3 receiver spot on the depth chart. A dismal four catches for 41 yards in his preseason opening performance followed by Thursday’s no show could mean the Vikings rookie will be fighting to see the field in Week 1 of the regular season.
Fantasy Spin:
Some rookies struggle to adjust early, and Treadwell is no exception. He has had limited time on the field with Bridgewater, but his first two outings will not help him get chances at first-team snaps. As of now, he has a long way to climb to be of any fantasy value.
