A new Christine Michael has seemed to emerge for the Seattle Seahawks. The fourth-year running back rushed 17 times for 99 yards and is averaged 5.8 yards per carry in the first two games of the preseason. That is over a 1-yard improvement of his career average of 4.7 yards per carry. Michael’s efforts to improve are getting attention throughout the Seahawks locker room.
Christine Michael shows promise, adds to fantasy potential
The Seattle Seahawks see growth in running back Christine Michael. We look at fantasy implications.

Following his preseason Week 2 performance, head coach Pete Carroll was quoted saying this about his backup running back, “he’s growing and he’s maturing, he’s more concerned about all of the things that are really important -- his reads, his pass-protection stuff, his ball-catching skills, everything is up.”
Fantasy Spin:
Michael always had talent, but what he lacked was maturity. Now that he seems to have his head in the right place, he can be a big threat for the Seahawks. It does not seem that he will take the starting role from Thomas Rawls by Week 1. However, expect a lot of production from Michael, especially as a passing threat from the backfield. Michael is looking like a strong Flex or maybe even RB2 option come draft day.
