As the Olympics wind to a close, many team sports will play their gold medal matches on Saturday, with the women’s volleyball gold medal match closing the evening.

United States goes for several golds, including women’s basketball and Gwen Jorgensen in triathlon.
Before that, women’s basketball, women’s handball, men’s soccer and men’s water polo will all award gold medals. The United States women’s team is expected to cruise to the finals, especially since Australia, the U.S.‘s only real threat, has already been eliminated.
The United States hasn’t won triathlon gold since 2004, but Gwen Jorgensen has a good chance to end that drought for her country in the final race on Saturday morning.
Saturday is the final day for track and field, concluding with seven event finals: women’s high jump, men’s javelin, men’s 1500-meter, women’s 800-meter, men’s 5000-meter, men’s 4x400-meter and women’s 4x400-meter.
United States’ David Boudia won the 10-meter men’s diving gold medal in the 2012 Olympics, but his competition is even tougher at Rio. Boudia won a silver earlier in the Olympics at the men’s synchronized 10-meter dive.
