The Dallas Cowboys activated running back Lance Dunbar from the physically unable to perform list Saturday. Dunbar tore his ACL and patellar tendon in Week 4 last season. He went on Twitter to announce the news of his return.
Lance Dunbar making remarkable recovery, could mean increase in fantasy position
Dallas will have Lance Dunbar on the 53-man roster for Week 1. We look at fantasy implications.

The fifth-year RB is expected to start slowly with individual drills and work his way up from there, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer. His status for the regular season is unknown.
Fantasy Spin:
Dunbar has a lot of upside. He opened the 2015 season strong for the Cowboys before going down in Week 4. Also, his resolve to get healthy enough to get off PUP this offseason says a lot. Still, Dunber is coming off a major injury and it is unknown how well he has recovered until he hits the field. Do not expect to see Dunbar to get picked in many drafts because he will likely be out until sometime midseason. Still, he could be a good sleeper off waivers late in the season if he remains healthy.
