It looks like Sammy Watkins will make his 2016 debut this week. On Tuesday, head coach Rex Ryan said that Watkins will play Friday when the Buffalo Bills face Washington, according to BuffaloBills.com reporter Chris Brown. Ryan added that Watkins will not play much in this game, but that the team does believe he’s ready for game action.
Sammy Watkins to play vs. Washington, fantasy value still high
We break down the fantasy football impact of Sammy Watkins making his 2016 debut when Buffalo faces Washington.

Watkins is still working his way back from offseason foot surgery, which limited him for most of training camp. It also led to him not playing in Buffalo’s first two preseason games.
It’s hard to telling how much the offseason foot surgery will limit him in the early parts of the regular season.
Fantasy Spin: With Watkins likely not playing much in this game, it will be hard to take anything away from it other than him being fully cleared to play. His ADP should remain in the Round 3-4 range, even though he’s a WR1 when healthy.
Expect him to be a little rusty to start the regular season after missing most of the offseason due to his surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot.
