The return of Thomas Rawls could come this Thursday. Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said Rawls “looks great” following Tuesday’s practice, according to Seattle Times Reporter Bob Condotta.
Thomas Rawls may face Cowboys, fantasy value should rise
We break down the fantasy football implications of Thomas Rawls potentially making his 2016 debut this week.

Bevell added that Rawls could play this week when Seattle hosts the Dallas Cowboys in the all-important third preseason game. Rawls still needs to make it through a few more tests before the Seahawks allow him to play Thursday, which would be his first game action since Week 14 of the 2015 season.
That was when Rawls suffered a broken ankle that ended his rookie season and required surgery. He has spent most of 2016 slowly working his way back before coming off PUP on Aug. 7.
Rawls has looked good in practice since then as he looks primed to be Seattle’s workhorse back this year.
Fantasy Spin: If Rawls can get in a preseason game or two, that will only reinforce his hold on the starting job in Seattle. His current ADP makes him a steal if you get him at the end of Round 3, which is where he’s been projected for a month now.
This offense is built to have Rawls producing like a high-end RB1 this season.
