The debut of Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise will come this week. Head coach Pete Carroll said Prosise will play in Thursday’s preseason matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, according to KJR reporter Curtis Crabtree.
C.J. Prosise to play vs. Cowboys, fantasy value still low
We break down the fantasy football impact of C.J. Prosise getting set to make his NFL debut.

This would be the first NFL game of any kind for Prosise, whom Seattle selected 90th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. A dual-threat back with a wide receiver background, Prosise could be a versatile weapon in Seattle’s offense.
However, Prosise was sidelined for most of training camp, as well as the first two preseason games, while dealing with a hamstring injury. Thursday’s matchup with Dallas will be a great opportunity for Prosise to play with the starters while Thomas Rawls sits out.
Fantasy Spin: Prosise’s current ADP has him going towards the end of fantasy drafts, if not undrafted. He has the potential to be a productive change-of-pace back, and may even get reps at receiver.
If you have Rawls, get Prosise as his handcuff. Christine Michael has done nothing to suggest he’ll remain Seattle’s No. 2 back for long, and Seattle did not invest a top-100 pick in Prosise for him to ride the bench.
