With the regular season drawing near, Larry Fitzgerald’s knee injury is still lingering. After sitting out Wednesday’s practice, Fitzgerald said he still had a “minor” MCL issue, according to azcardinals.com reporter Darren Urban.
Larry Fitzgerald still has ‘minor’ MCL injury, fantasy value still high
We break down the fantasy football impact of Larry Fitzgerald still missing practice due to an MCL injury.

Fitzgerald added he could practice and is just being cautious. He practiced on Sunday after sitting out the Arizona Cardinals’ preseason matchup with the San Diego Chargers last Friday.
Fitzgerald also missed this week’s Monday practice, so it looks like this is significant enough to keep tabs on going into the regular season.
Fantasy Spin: Even the most minor of knee injuries can be a tricky ordeal, as it becomes easier to suffer a more significant injury in that area. It sounds like Arizona is making sure the latter does not happen with the 32-year-old veteran.
Still, Fitzgerald’s ADP feels too high as it is, so seeing him already dealing with an injury is concerning, especially since he turns 33 on Aug. 31. With Michael Floyd and John Brown waiting in the wings, Fitzgerald’s days as a WR1 should end soon, maybe as early as 2016.
