Washington will not have Jamison Crowder for the team’s third preseason game. Head coach Jay Gruden ruled Crowder out for Friday’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills, according to Master Tesfatsion of The Washington Post.
Jamison Crowder ruled out vs. Bills, has little fantasy value
We break down the fantasy implications of Jamison Crowder missing Washington’s third preseason game.

The second-year wide receiver is dealing with a knee injury suffered in Washington’s second preseason game on Aug. 19. One week later, Crowder is still unable to practice with the regular season inching closer.
If he doesn’t get back on the field soon, Crowder is at risk of falling behind Ryan Grant for the starting slot receiver job.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder already has little-to-no fantasy value, so this injury only reinforces that belief. Washington’s offense has too many other options to allow Crowder to make an impact, even if he is the starting slot man.
As long as Jordan Reed, DeSean Jackson, and Pierre Garcon are healthy, they will draw the bulk of the targets in this offense.
