Sunday is the first time the Minnesota Vikings play at U.S. Bank Stadium, which, on the outside, looks like a dang spaceship, or Daft Punk’s new stage:
The Vikings’ new stadium is a beautiful place where football happens to be played
Welcome to your new home, Vikings fans.

But it’s what’s inside that counts, and damn, it looks beautiful:
The LED screens are huge and clear for everyone (including the teams) to see. More than half of the roof is transparent, which is fantastic for daytime games — if you’re wondering if the stadium will suffer a Metrodome-like roof collapse during winter, they made sure that won’t happen again, as there’s a new snow melt system installed and the roofs are slanted.
And in case you wanted to see the Metrodome roof collapse again:
Plus, if you can afford it, U.S. Bank Stadium also has turf suites that are located pretty freaking close to the field:
TCF Bank Stadium served the Vikings well in the past two seasons, but there’s no doubt Vikings fans are stoked to be in a place like this.
